The Fronius Ohmpilot optimises self-consumption through continuous, intelligent regulation of heat sources. The system is a consumption regulator, designed to turn excess solar power into hot water for your home. Thanks to the continuously adjusted regulation from 0 to 9 kW, surplus power is put to use very efficiently.

The Fronius Ohmpilot is primarily used for the intelligent control of the heating elements in providing hot water for boilers and buffer storage tanks, but can also be used for other devices, such as towel radiators. This results in maximum self-consumption for the homes solar power, reducing the home’s CO2 emissions, and lower hot water bills, which make up 30% of most home’s energy costs.
